This morning we see the characteristics of true men and women of God

 

  1.  Look at Godly examples in leadership, teachers, and pastors and within the body vs 10-13
  2.  Immerse yourself in Gods’ word vs 14-17

Timothy, you know me and my character. You have walked with me for these last 15 years or so.  Follow my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, my persecution and sufferings

Timothy had been taught Scripture since he was young my mother and grandmother - this was able to make him wise unto salvation - the gospel of Jesus Christ brought to life the passages about the Messiah - Christ.
